Its state toggles between Armed or Disarmed. Kerbals grabbed by the AGU's claw will go limp in a ragdoll state and can be carried with the craft. It's like a docking port, but without the complexity of aligning with a receiving port on the target. And objects connected by claws are controlled together as a single entity. It's also useful for craft-to-craft docking or for exchanging resources with craft or debris without a docking port.Īs with docking ports, resources ( liquid fuel, electricity, etc.) can be exchanged with the target. UPDATE: I FIXED IT! I had KAS the whole time but was trying to EVA a Kerbal and "grab" the Clamp-O-Trons ("G" key).little did I know that "H" (normally the "attach" key) also undocks ports!! I completed my Dres mission and made it back to Kerbal safely!! Now my mothership is in LKO, just gotta get up there and get the Kerbals and that delicious science out! Thank you everyone so much!!! My quest to plant a flag on every land-able body is moving along.now the Jool system. The AGU is the primary means of capturing and redirecting asteroids, and of destroying a planet and vessels within 200m of the klaw under certain circumstances.
#Ships wont undock kso mod
Also, KML and Stock Bug Fix mods messed up my savegame, even files I didn't tamper with, which mod is causing it? TLDR: Ship won't undock the lander, Undock button is still there but nothing happens, it is fine in-between Kerbin and Dres, but f***s up at Dres everytime for some reason. WHY does this docking bug happen? What can I do in the future to avoid it from happening? Undock/Dock a lander every couple of minutes as I'm flying?!?!?!? Should I try to get rid of the Stock Bug Fix mod, or the KML mod? I even loaded up an old save that hasn't been tampered with, and it gave the same error everytime. Opening up my Savegame, it gets to the Space Center, but when I go to the Tracking Station and select my ship, it throws an error and force-crashes KSP. I went ahead and downloaded the Stock Bug Fix mod too. Both ships, the one in LKO and in Dres orbit had a bunch of "Docking port status is ready, it should be Engaged" I don't know what it said. I opened it up, loaded up my savegame in KML, got errors for multiple ships, even this one ship that's just drifting in LKO. I braced myself, clicked Undock and.nothing. This worked in the sense that NOW, loading the game back up, there was again an option to undock. Changed "Status: Disengaged" to "Status: Engaged (dockee)" and "Status: Engaged (docker)." But did they seperate and float away from each other? NO. Loaded the game up, as you would expect, there was no option to undock because the game thought they were disengaged. Found my ship, changed the "Status: Ready" to "Status: Disengaged" on both ships. I tried to edit the files in Notepad (made a copy of the savegame first). Closed entire game down, went to Desktop, opened it back up, loaded back into when I was in-between Kerbin and Dres again, yes, undocking is possible, did my correction burn AGAIN, got into Dres orbit AGAIN, whadyouknow? Won't undock AGAIN. Try going to the tracking station and back, nothing. Do my Dres-correction burn, get to Dres orbit, try it again, same thing. Did a test un-dock, it worked! So maybe it was just a one-time glitch? I tried to load back to when I was in-between Kerbin and Dres. I fire RCS to check if the games still thinks they're connected, they are definitely still connected. When I'm in Dres orbit, I click "Undock" on the "mothership"'s port that's connected to the lander, nothing happens. Get to Dres, shedding tanks along the way (remember I said the "mothership" has Clamp-O-Trons circum-navigating its outside, with tanks docked into it like a space station, un-docking them and sending them to drift as I go). I have a docking port on the front, with a lander attached, "Apollo-style." The lander itself has 2 stages, if that matters. I have a "mothership" with lots of docking ports around it. Of course I had to get to Dres for this to happen.
